This is a wonderful collection of animated storybooks. These are classic books made for the tv. The stories aren't changed like when a book is made into a movie, these are the books with the same illustrations and storyline, just animated. It's great to have your child watch these with the read along option, especially after they've read the real book. A great way for children to learn to love literature and love to read!

This collection contains so many stories that your child could be kept busy for days. There are a ton of good stories (and couple of not-so-good ones) that you'll remember from when you were a kid. The purchase was definitely worth the money.

My four year old son really enjoys this set. There is a great variety of stories to choose from. The animation is simple- not too busy and overstimulating- but engaging. The stories are classic. I am a teacher as well and many of my colleagues have borrowed dvds from this set. We are very satisfied with this purchase!

I got this for niece/nephew @ Christmas. One of the tapes was broken - Amazon replaced ASAP - the kids were back to watching them all the time. Their parents read to them, so many of the stories were familiar and this just "brought them to life". I live long distance from them so it's great to have a gift be such a hit!!
